I've been coming to this hotel for years, and this stay was disappointing. The location remains a highlight for beach lovers, and the staff was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. However, the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms left much to be desired this time around, and that really impacted my experience.

I recently stayed at The Schooner Motel and had a mixed experience. While the beach access was fantastic and my granddaughter loved her honeymoon suite, my initial impression of our room was disappointing with cleanliness issues. The owner was attentive during the honeymoon setup, but there were concerns about some rowdy guests and limited maid services. Overall, it's a decent spot but might not be for everyone.

I stumbled upon this charming motel and couldn't be happier with my stay. The room was adorable, super clean, and just a few steps away from the beach! The service was outstanding, as the staff consistently checked in to see if I needed anything. A couple of minor things, like the comfort of the bed, could be improved, but overall, this place offers great value for a beach getaway.
